Why Creative Ecology?

Creative Ecology combines the observational skills of science with the creative processes of art.

Students are encouraged to slow down, observe closely, ask questions, document their discoveries and develop a deeper understanding of local environments through meaningful, hands-on experiences.

By combining creativity with environmental learning, students build both ecological knowledge and a stronger connection to the places they live.
